The Power Of Data
DATA STORAGE, ANALYSIS, COMPREHENSIVE MARKETING STRATEGY
Data analytics is the process of collecting and analyzing data in order to gain insight into a business situation. Data mining is a subset of data analytics that focuses on finding patterns in large data sets. We utilize insights and learnings obtained from analytics, data warehousing, data analysis and data mining to deliver success for those we serve. The Flyline team has built a proven track record that includes some pretty eye popping results for those we serve.
Data analytics can help you answer questions like:
* What are my customers doing?
* What are my employees doing?
* What do potential customers do on my website?
* Is there a correlation between my sales performance and the weather or holiday season?
Data analytics is a broad term that encompasses many different types of analysis. In general, it refers to the use of mathematics and statistics to gain insights into data sets. Data analytics can be used to predict how customers will react to a product, how much money a company will make given its current spending habits, or whether or not an employee should be promoted based on their performance review scores.
Data Mining
Data mining is a specific type of data analysis that focuses on discovering patterns in large amounts of data in order to make predictions about future trends or outcomes. It is often used by companies looking for new customers based on the past purchasing behavior of their existing ones (think Amazon’s “People who bought this also bought…” section). It can also be used in other ways: for example, if you want to know which products are likely to be sold out soon at your store so that you can restock them before anyone else does.
Both data analytics and data mining are essential tools for any organization whose success depends on making good decisions about their resources and how best to use them effectively.
What is data mining?
Data mining is the process of extracting patterns from large sets of data, or “mining” for useful information. It’s most commonly used to extract patterns in business and marketing data, but it can be applied to almost any type of data.
Why do companies data mine?
Companies use data mining to uncover hidden patterns and insights that can help them improve their products and services. For example, a grocery store might want to know what kinds of produce are most popular with their customers so they can stock more of those items, or a clothing store might want to know what colors are trending so they can adjust their inventory.

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a free tool that helps you track and analyze your website’s traffic. It collects information on how users interact with your site, including what they click on, what they read, and how long they stay there. You can then use this data to improve the experience of your visitors, increase their engagement with your brand, and boost sales by improving the content on your website. If you need help loading analytics to your site, please contact our tech support team.
Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google Analytics is currently the most popular website statistics service and is used on over 90% of all websites. Google Analytics allows you to see how people are using your website. It gives you information like how many people visit your site, where they come from, what pages they look at, and much more. It also allows you to set up goals, which are actions that people can take on your site (like buying something). With Google Analytics, it’s easy to see whether or not your goals are being met.
Flyline Search Marketing utilizes Google Analytics in support of all of the clients we work with. This tool is amazing. Customers we serve utilize many different types of websites. We have customers using Gravity Free sites, Teleflora sites, Emerald City sites, WordPress sites and more. Google analytics can quickly and easily be loaded to any of these sites. Analytics tracking code can be installed directly on the site, or dropped in using tools like Google Tag Manager. We drop the code directly into the sites that we build, and work with the developers that built sites for other customers who have connected with us to utilize our comprehensive marketing program.
Google UA Analytics
Google Universal Analytics is a free service that lets you track all of your site’s traffic in one place. Universal Analytics tracks data from all of your website’s traffic sources, including search engines, social media, referrals and more. This helps you gain a better understanding of how people find your site, what they do when they get there and where they go next. As of July 1, 2023, Google plans to stop gathering data on the UA platform. Users will still have access to their historical data for a period of time. We have installed the new G4 tracking code on all of our customer’s sites at this point.
With Universal Analytics you could:
– Track visitors across devices—mobile phones and tablets, laptops and desktops—and browsers—whether they’re using Chrome or Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer.
– Measure the performance of your marketing campaigns with Google Ads integration so you know which keywords are driving the most clicks to your site.
– See how much time people spend on each page of your site so you can make sure they’re finding what they’re looking for quickly and easily.
Google G4 Analytics
If you’re a content creator, you’ve probably heard of Google Analytics (GA). But did you know that Google has a new version of its analytics software? It’s called G4 Analytics, and it’s designed specifically for people who create content. G4 Analytics will be replacing the old UA analytics platform. If you haven’t installed G4 on your site and need assistance, please contact our office. Once installed, G4 provides insight into all kinds of new data that can help you better understand the performance of your content.
The first thing G4 Analytics does is give you more insight into the people who engage with your content on social media platforms. You’ll get data about their demographics, interests, and behaviors—all information that can help you better target future audiences for your work.
Another way that G4 Analytics differs from GA is that it lets you track how much time users spend on each page of your website or blog. This way, if someone reads half of an article but doesn’t finish it, you’ll know why they didn’t finish reading it—and then you can make changes accordingly.
Call Tracking & Recording
Flyline offers a call tracking and recording program. This service is included in our comprehensive marketing program.
Call tracking analytics is the process of using software and unique phone numbers to track how many calls are made from specific marketing campaigns. It’s a way for businesses to gain insight into their customer base and make improvements to their business strategy.
There are three main ways that businesses use call tracking data:
1. Identify which products or services are most popular with customers, so they can make more of those products/services and promote them more effectively.
2. Understand what customers want and need so they can make changes to their products/services accordingly.
3. Identify which marketing campaigns are working best so they can invest in those campaigns even more, while reducing investment in campaigns that aren’t working as well.
